Step 2: Define Your Location
Drone operations are highly dependent on geography, airspace regulations and local terrain, so setting an accurate location is crucial.
● The Basics: Start by typing in a standard street address or entering exact GPS coordinates.
● Advanced Mapping: If your project covers a massive area (like a farm or a commercial development), you can use our built-in mapping tool to draw custom boundary lines.
Step 3: Choose Your Service
Selecting the right category helps our system match you with pilots who specialize in your specific industry. Choose the option that best matches your project, such as:
● Real Estate & Land
● Construction & Surveying -
● Roof & Infrastructure Inspections
● Weddings & Special Events
● Drone Training
● Other Custom Drone Services
Step 4: Map Out Your Schedule, Budget and Scope
This section gives you total control over how your project is managed. You will need to customize the following details:
● Bidding Preferences: Open the job to our entire network of qualified local pilots. Alternatively, keep it private to only receive bids from pilots you personally invite.
● Deadlines: Set a hard completion date if you're on a tight schedule. You can also mark it as a flexible timeframe if your dates are adaptable.
● Budget & Insurance: Establish your target budget and specify if you require a specific level of liability insurance.
● Project Scope: Note whether this is a one-time shoot, a recurring project, or a larger operation requiring multiple pilots.
Step 5: Write a Clear Job Overview
Give your project a clear, descriptive title (e.g., "Aerial Drone Video for 5-Acre Estate in Austin"). In the description field, outline a clear step-by-step instructions.
Clear details lead to more accurate quotes.
Step 6: Refine with Advanced Settings
This is where you filter for specific needs of your project. Choose between entry, intermediate and advanced pilots depending on the complexity of the airspace and the precision required. Specify how many hours you expect the pilot to be on-site and note any specific equipment requirements..
Step 7: Upload Supporting Attachments
If you have reference images, style guides, layout plans and specific boundary maps that will help pilots better understand the scope of work, upload them here. (Can I add an image?)Yes
