Posting a lot of jobs shouldn't mean copying and pasting the same details every time. Three features make hiring faster and easier when you work with pilots often. This guide covers all three.

Here's what you'll learn to use:

Reuse Job Posting: turn any past job into a new one in a few clicks.

Private Pilot Notes: save your own notes on a pilot for next time.

Pilot Job History: see every job you've done with a specific pilot.

Let's walk through each one.

Feature 1: Reuse a Job Posting

If you post similar jobs often, this saves you real time. Instead of rebuilding a job from scratch, you copy an old one and tweak it. This is handy if you run different templates for commercial shoots, vacant land, construction progress or roofing.

Step 1: Find the reuse button

Log in to your Droners.io dashboard and go to My Jobs. Then open the Marketplace Jobs tab. Every job now has a Reuse Job button.

Pick the job that matches what you need next. Any past job works, including completed ones.

Step 2: Click Reuse Job

Click Reuse Job and Droners.io creates a brand-new job for you. It carries over the full template from the job you picked. Your job details and description are already filled in.

Step 3: Make your edits

Now update anything that's different for this project. Maybe the acreage changed, or the county is new. Change what you need, and leave the rest.

Some jobs need only a small edit. Others need none at all. It's up to you.

Step 4: Know what saves and what doesn't

A few things reset on purpose, since they're almost always different for each job.

Here's what gets saved:

● Your job details and full description.

Here's what does not get saved:

Location: you'll set a new one each time.

Scheduling dates: these change per job, so you'll add them fresh.

Attachments: upload any new files as needed.

Everything on your job description page carries over, so you spend your time only on what's changed.

Step 5: Post your job

Move through the scheduling section, pick your options, then click Next. When you're happy with the details, post your job. That's it. A new posting, ready in minutes!

Feature 2: Private Pilot Notes

Ever hired a pilot and forgotten how it went? Private pilot notes fix that. You save your own notes on a pilot, and they stay with that pilot over time.

This helps most when you hire often or share an account with your team. If a coworker never worked with a pilot, your note fills them in.

Step 1: Open the pilot's profile

Click on a pilot to open their profile. You'll manage your notes from here.

Step 2: Add a note

Add a note about your experience. Keep it useful for future decisions. For example:

● "Excellent job all around."

● "Great aerial shots, but interior photos were just okay."

You get up to 500 characters per note. That's plenty for the details that matter.

Step 3: View and edit your notes

Your note saves and stays put. The next time that pilot bids, you'll see it right away. You can edit it or add to it after each job.

You'll also spot your notes on the bids in your chat. Click a pilot's name to jump to their profile and read the full note.

A quick note today saves you a guessing game later.

Feature 3: Pilot Job History

Want to know how often you've worked with someone? Pilot job history shows you. It's a simple record of every job you've done together.

Step 1: Open the pilot's profile

Go to the pilot's profile, the same way you would for notes.

Step 2: View their job history

Click Jobs on their profile. You'll see a list of every job you've completed with that pilot.

Maybe you've worked with someone five times. Maybe fifteen. Now you'll know at a glance.

You can also check this while a pilot is bidding. Click into their profile to see your shared history before you decide.
